Anytime I'm in Boulder I like to stop at Boxcar. Their coffee roasts are delicious and their baristas are well trained. Additionally, they always have some tasty and creative seasonal offerings that do not disappoint. Add to that a great location on Pearl Street and it makes Boxcar the standout coffee stop in the area.

The cold brew and pour over coffee were both great. We also tried the club sandwich and it did not disappoint.

Absolutely DELICIOUS coffee and pastries! This was the best cappuccino I had during my visit to Boulder. The pastries were phenomenal, and my only regret is not eating more. If available, get the kouign amann. It was amazingly buttery and crispy. I also got a bag of 'Barenuckle' to brew at home, and it was full flavored, bold, and perfectly roasted.

Excellent coffee prepared well. Come for the espresso, stay for the pastries. Mourn the former Daedalus deli that is out of biz in the same location. Worth the wait (but come off peak if possible). Chairs are all uncomfortable and encourage moving on promptly.

Delicious and quaint describes Boxcar Coffee well. I enjoyed the mocha, brown butter oatmeal raisin cookie, and an egg and salsa dish. Clean and modern. Street parking.

To add to the 1k 5 star reviews, Boxcar truly is the best. I work from coffee shops a lot and none have a better mix of great coffee/espresso, amazing food/pastries, atmosphere, and great service. I just spilled my massive latte all over my stuff and the staff (I assume the gm) replaced it and helped me clean it up. Thanks as always boxcar.

This was my first coffee in 3 months, and it was a truly wonderful experience. The Orange Ginger seasonal latte was delicious, not too sweet and complex flavors while staying creamy and letting the coffee shine. Pastries were excellent as well, we tried the Chocolate croissant and Pistachio croissant, both were fluffy, flavorful, and yummy. Everyone was kind, even as the shop was packed as we hid from the spring snow outside. Will definitely be back

Best coffee/pastry shop in Boulder, no one even comes close.
